Big Dead have been making music in one form or another since roughly
2008. Recently the group finished their first self recorded EP: A Very
Short Story. This material was the summation of the group up until this
point. Shortly after the completion of "A Very Short Story" the group
lost two of its members to rabid zombie death. With the new line up, Big
Dead has shifted its focus to live interactive improvisations,
instrumental composition, and songwriting.

Motion Picture Actress is the performing name of electronic musician
Thom Brydon. Currently studying at the Jazz Music Institute in Brisbane,
Thom’s work as Motion Picture Actress is intriguing. With a solid
footing in jazz, Thom takes the genre of instrumental hip/hop and twists
it into something new and different. To date, Thomas has played with
artists such as Balam Acab, Lapalux (Brainfeeder), OooOO, Chet Faker and
Oliver Tank, amongst others.
